Sales are final once paid. We start fulfilment immediately. Alcohol generally cannot be returned because you changed your mind. Statutory rights for faulty goods are not affected.
Can alcohol be returned?
Spirit Hives is the seller. Once payment clears, the sale is final except for the 30-day ship-out guarantee, a proven fault, damage in transit, or a wrong item reported within 5 days of delivery.
Opened bottles, bottles with a broken seal, missing packaging, or bottles that have left the original delivery address cannot be returned.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Email sales@spirithives.com within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the bottle, packaging and shipping label. Keep the parcel and all packing. We will arrange a replacement from our stock when it allows, or a refund of the affected line to the original payment method. You do not pay return shipping for a proven fault, transit damage or a picking error.
Change of mind
Change-of-mind returns are not a right. If we agree in writing to take an unopened, sealed bottle back, you pay original shipping, return shipping, and a 35% restocking fee on the bottle price. Approval is discretionary and may be refused for allocated, limited or overseas stock.
Refused, unclaimed and unsigned parcels
If you refuse the delivery, fail to collect it from a carrier depot, or no adult is present to sign and show ID, the order is treated as delivered. There is no refund, replacement or return shipping paid by us.
How and when refunds are paid
Approved refunds go to the original payment method. Card refunds typically show within 5–10 business days after we confirm them; crypto refunds follow the hosted provider’s rules and may take longer. Delivery charges are refunded only when the 30-day ship-out guarantee applies or when we cancel because we cannot fulfil. Customs you have already paid to a border agency are not refundable through us.
Chargebacks
Contact us first. Opening a chargeback for a refused duty bill, a missed adult signature, a label that differs from the photo, or a parcel you did not collect may be treated as a breach of the terms.
Statutory rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country or state for goods that are not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
