Who you contract with
Spirit Hives, of the United States, operates spirithives.com as a large retailer and wholesale supplier of wine, whiskey and spirits. When you buy on this site, the contract for the bottle is with Spirit Hives. We are the seller of record. Trade (wholesale) orders for bars, restaurants and shops are taken from the same catalogue — email sales@spirithives.com. Sales are void where prohibited.
Support: sales@spirithives.com (email only). Governing law: the State of Delaware, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Disputes that cannot be resolved in writing may be brought in the state or federal courts of Delaware.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and legally able to buy alcohol at the delivery address. You are responsible for local alcohol, import and tax laws. We may refuse or cancel any order we reasonably believe would break those laws. The carrier may demand photo ID. Orders that cannot be age-verified are cancelled and refunded.
Orders, prices and tax
Your checkout is an offer. We accept by beginning fulfilment. Prices are in USD and exclude destination tax until checkout calculates it. Tax settings are still being confirmed; the amount shown before you pay is the amount charged. Delivery is added as published on the shipping page. Catalogue prices come from supplier records and can change until payment is captured.
Payment
Card payments are not offered. You may pay by bank wire transfer (USD). We reserve the order and send transfer instructions to your email; we start fulfilment after the funds clear. Crypto, when the hosted provider is connected, is taken on that provider’s page. Sales are final once payment is received, as described in the cancellations and returns policies.
Delivery, risk and title
See shipping & delivery. Title and risk pass when we hand the parcel to the carrier. Adult signature and ID on delivery are conditions of the sale.
Accounts
Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, chargeback abuse or underage access.
Product information and images
Facts are taken from producers’ published records. Where a fact is not in the record, the product page says so. Photographs are producer or supplier images and may differ in label, wax, capsule, gift box or vintage from the bottle supplied. Those differences are not a breach. Image-rights confirmation for the imported catalogue is still in progress; we will replace or remove any image a rights holder asks us to.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spirit Hives is not liable for the acts or omissions of carriers, customs agencies or payment providers, or for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of enjoyment. For any claim against Spirit Hives arising from the website or an order, our liability is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Intellectual property
The Spirit Hives name, logo and original content are ours or licensed to us. Producer names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used to identify products.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above is the version that applies to orders placed after it. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of the new terms for future visits.
