Our commitments
- We list alcohol only for people of legal drinking age (21+ in the United States) and use age, signature and ID checks required by law.
- We do not market to minors, promote excessive or rapid drinking, or suggest that alcohol improves health, performance, mood or social success.
- We describe products factually: strength, size, origin and the producer’s own tasting notes.
Know your drinks
Alcohol content is shown on every product page as % ABV. A 750 ml bottle at 40% ABV contains 300 ml of pure alcohol — about 17 US standard drinks (14 g of alcohol each). US adults who drink are generally advised to stay within the CDC’s moderate-drinking figures: up to 1 drink a day for women and up to 2 for men, and not every day. Read CDC: moderate alcohol use and NIAAA Rethinking Drinking.
Getting help
If you are worried about your drinking or someone else’s, talk to a doctor or call SAMHSA’s National Helpline on 1-800-662-HELP (4357) (US, free, confidential, 24/7). Never drink and drive. Do not drink if pregnant or when taking medication that interacts with alcohol. Industry education: responsibility.org.
