Gin
Gin is a neutral spirit flavoured with juniper and other botanicals. London dry is juniper-led and unsweetened; contemporary and flavoured gins push citrus, floral or fruit notes; Old Tom and genever are the older, softer styles.
What does “London dry” mean?
A production method, not a place: all botanicals must be added during distillation, with nothing added afterwards except water and a tiny amount of sugar. London dry gin can be made anywhere.
