Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. The site is built with semantic HTML, a single main heading per page, visible keyboard focus, labelled controls, keyboard-operable menus, dialogs and carousels, reduced-motion support and text alternatives for images.
Known limitations
- Some decorative type in the homepage design is small; content pages use larger text. We are reviewing minimum sizes.
- Product images are producer photographs; alt text describes the bottle by name rather than label detail.
- Carousels can also be scrolled with the keyboard (arrow keys, Home, End) and do not auto-advance.
Testing
Automated and manual checks cover structure, contrast, keyboard operation and viewport widths 360–1440 px. Screen-reader testing with real assistive technology is still to be completed and remains on the launch checklist.
