About this bottle
Merrylegs Genever Style Gin is a old Tom & genever from United States in our spirits range. It is bottled at 40% ABV, in a 750 ml bottle. Producer tasting notes — on the nose: The spirit’s nose speaks clearly of the malted barley base and has plenty of grain elements such as baked bread and toasted seed. Unfortunately these authentic Genever elements edge out most of the botanicals and leave juniper all but undetectable; on the palate: The rich palate has great integration of alcohol and a pleasant rounded character that benefits from a presence of candied anise and a zesty finish with a hint of white pepper spice; finish: Finish is rich and smooth.

Serving & pairing
Best in a tall glass with tonic and a garnish that echoes the botanicals, or stirred into a Martini or Negroni. Pairs with seafood and citrus-dressed salads.
What does “London dry” mean?
A production method, not a place: all botanicals must be added during distillation, with nothing added afterwards except water and a tiny amount of sugar. London dry gin can be made anywhere.
