Producer tasting notes — on the nose: An inviting bouquet of rich toffee, vanilla bean, caramelized brown sugar, and seasoned oak is complemented by layers of dried figs, raisins, tobacco leaf, toasted almonds, and warm baking spices. Subtle hints of leather and orange peel add further depth and elegance; on the palate: Full-bodied and exceptionally balanced, delivering flavors of creamy vanilla, buttery caramel, dark honey, and toffee that evolve into cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, toasted oak, and dried stone fruits. The extended air-curing of the oak contributes a refined, mature wood character with notes of roasted nuts and a touch of cocoa; finish: Long, warming, and beautifully structured, with lingering notes of seasoned oak, sweet vanilla, baking spice, tobacco, and a gentle dry oak tannin that fades into hints of dark caramel and toasted wood.
