Anniversary
Cognac for a quiet anniversary.
“Thirty years. No party, one glass each by the fire. The XO from Spirit Hives was warm, long and unhurried. That was the evening.”

Weekend sipping
Mezcal that tastes like a place.
“Smoke, not a campfire, with the village and the agave named on the page. I read it, then I drank it. Spirit Hives had both parts right.”

Summer garden
A gin I cannot buy on the high street.
“A citrus gin that barely shows up in the States. Spirit Hives listed the botanicals, I ordered a 700 ml, and it became the house G and T. Not cheap. Completely worth it.”

Case order
The case made more sense.
“I drink the reposado enough that a single bottle was a habit. Switching the option to a case at Spirit Hives dropped the unit price and I stopped running out mid-month.”
